Terms of Use
Last updated: October 26, 2026
These terms apply to your use of the Tarotly app and this website, published by Tarotly LLC ("we", "us"). By using Tarotly, you agree to them. If you downloaded Tarotly from the App Store, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If the two conflict, these terms prevail to the extent permitted by Apple's agreement.
What Tarotly is
Tarotly is a tool for reflection, learning and entertainment. Tarot readings, astrology and Muse's answers do not predict the future and are not facts. They are not a substitute for professional advice in medical, mental health, legal, financial or any other field. Do not make important decisions on the basis of a reading alone.
If you are going through a very hard time, please reach out. In the US and Canada, call or text 988. In France, call 3114. Elsewhere, call your local emergency number.
Age
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age set by the law of your country, to use Tarotly. If you are under the age of majority, you need the permission of a parent or guardian, including to make purchases.
Muse and AI-generated content
If you agree to AI readings, Muse's answers are written by an AI model. They can be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable, and they do not reflect our opinions. Use them with judgment. You can report any answer from within the app. You agree not to use Muse to create content that is illegal, harmful, hateful or that violates the rights of others, and not to attempt to bypass its safety measures or usage limits. We may limit or suspend access to AI features in case of abuse.
Subscriptions and purchases
- Tarotly is free to download. Some features require a paid subscription or the purchase of credits. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by country.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period (week, month or year, depending on the plan you chose) at the same price, unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage and cancel your subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings at any time after purchase. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
- If an offer includes a free trial or an introductory price, any unused part of a free trial ends when you purchase a subscription. An introductory price applies only to the period stated in the offer, after which the regular price applies.
- Credits are consumable and are used when you ask Muse for readings. They have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
- Refunds are handled by Apple according to its policies. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Your content
Your questions, journal entries and photos remain yours. We only use them as described in our Privacy Policy, to provide the features you ask for.
Our content
The app, its texts, design, lessons and software belong to Tarotly LLC or its licensors. The Rider-Waite-Smith card images are in the public domain. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for your own non-commercial purposes. You may share your daily card and readings to social media using the app's sharing features.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Tarotly available and accurate, but we provide it "as is" and cannot guarantee that it will always be available or free of errors. We may update, change or remove features. If we change these terms in a significant way, we will let you know in the app before the changes apply.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Tarotly LLC is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you make based on a reading or on content generated by Muse. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
Ending your use
You can stop using Tarotly at any time and delete your data from Settings. We may suspend access if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country, and you may bring a claim in your local courts.
